What we do< Go back

Brussels is now all set to conserve water with Werfwater.
Here's the challenge and the solution.

The city of Brussels, a pioneer in reusing WerfWater.

Brussels is the fourth Belgian city to collaborate with WerfWater to solve the problem of water scarcity . WerfWater is an initiative by Lemon and Switchrs, joining forces to tackle this rewarding challenge.

‍In the Langemeersstraat in Kortrijk, Artes and G. Smeyers are helping to ensure that this is done in a sustainable way . For example, drainage water is collected and reused by local residents, farmers, companies and city services . Subsequently, a new youth psychiatry is being built on this site that can accommodate 52 children and young people. Together, with more than 77,000 inhabitants, we make the difference.

Juvenile psychiatry, Kortrijk

The youth psychiatry in Langemeersstraat is being built in the heart of the city of Kortrijk. This site originally housed the Campus Groeninge of the Goldensporencollege. Furthermore, the new youth psychiatry is located near the Geroninge park. The green character of the environment is created both around and in the building. For example, a park will be created where cyclists and walkers are welcome, and parts of the building will be designed as a green zone.
